The automaker Dodge has rolled out a new Ram truck options package inspired by Evansville dealer Expressway Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram.
The package, which is named the Ram Express, is based on feedback from customers at the Evansville dealership.
“This one was specifically designed for our store,” said Expressway’s General Manager, Ed Goebel.
The Ram Express package includes a Hemi motor, 20-inch chrome wheels, a monochromatic grill that matches the truck’s body color, fog lights and a dual exhaust system.
The package is available on Ram trucks in Dodge dealerships nationwide, Goebel said.
Goebel said it’s unusual for an automaker to create an options package based on dealership feedback like this.
“We’re the No. 1 Dodge truck dealer in the Midwest, and we’ve kind of got their ear a little bit just because of the volume that we do,” he said.
